\nAre you an experienced Estimator, Applications Engineer or Technical Sales professional who enjoys turning customer requirements into practical engineered solutions?
\nWe are partnering with a well-established Australian engineering business that designs and manufactures custom equipment for infrastructure and industrial projects. Due to continued growth, an opportunity exists for a commercially minded technical professional to join the team in a key customer-facing role.
\n This position would suit someone from a fabrication, manufacturing, engineered equipment, water, wastewater, process equipment, pumps, valves or industrial solutions background.
About the Role Working closely with customers, engineering and production teams, you will be responsible for reviewing project requirements, preparing quotations and developing practical technical solutions for a diverse range of projects.
\nKey responsibilities include:

- Reviewing customer specifications, drawings and project requirements \n
- Preparing quotations, estimates and technical proposals \n
- Liaising with customers to understand project needs and identify opportunities \n
- Developing costings, pricing schedules and tender submissions \n
- Working with engineering and production teams to ensure solutions are practical and commercially viable \n
- Following up quotations and supporting the conversion of opportunities into orders \n
- Building long-term relationships with contractors, consultants and end users \n

To be successful you will have:

- Experience preparing quotations, estimates or tenders for engineered products or solutions \n
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications \n
- Strong commercial awareness and customer communication skills \n
- Experience working within fabrication, manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments \n
- The ability to balance technical detail with customer-focused outcomes \n
