Big Data Manager

"Technical excellence :
\n - Collaborate with other software development, architecture, solutions, and QA teams to ensure that software systems are designed for testability, stability, scalability, and performance.
\n - Manage the investigation and resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries
\n - Experience in Scala, Databricks, Kafka, Spark, Azure, NoSql, DataLake, Big Data, with following additional experiences:
\n ??Good to have experience with NoSQL Data using MongoDB/Cassandra/HBase etc.
\n Common accountabilities:
\n - Manages a team of employees and has accountability for their performance and results. Sets performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions.
\n - Defines the vision for the team in line with the department strategy and operational challenges and translates it into a concrete action plan. Works with a high level of autonomy, with some guidance from Senior Manager.
\n - Acts as a reference across multiple areas, anticipating solutions to complex problems.
\n - Optimizes efficiency based on knowledge and experience with the policies, procedures and business plan.
\n Specific accountabilities:

\n - Define and share the technical/functional team roadmap and vision according to the department/division/company objectives
\n - Report on team activities
\n - Be accountable for the performance and results of a unit within own discipline or function
\n - Develop plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
\n - Suggest alternatives / improvements / new techniques in processes, flows, operational models and plans
\n - Moderate budgetary impact on business
\n Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receive guidance from senior manager
