Job Description
- 7+ years exp. in designing precision/robotic systems, from concept to production \n
- First-principles understanding of mechanics + hands-on DFM/manufacturing \n\n
- Work across the full product lifecycle - concept, design, prototyping, testing, and production \n
- Design mechanical systems including mechanisms, linkages, actuators, and assemblies for robotic platforms \n
- Apply first-principles engineering across mechanics, materials, and geometry in design decisions \n
- Perform CAD design, FEA analysis, and DFM/assembly considerations \n
- Work closely with manufacturing, vendors, and internal teams to build and scale products \n
- Contribute to prototype builds, testing, and iterative improvements \n\n

\n\nThe Successful Applicant
\n\nA strong candidate is a mechanical/industrial/design engineer with 7-10 years of experience designing and delivering complex electromechanical systems from concept to production. They bring hands-on expertise in CAD, FEA, DFM/DFA, and have worked on motion systems involving actuators, linkages, or precision mechanisms, with exposure to real-world builds and manufacturing.
\n They are comfortable working across design, prototyping, and testing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and approach problems from first principles in fast-paced environments.
