we are looking experienced EM/IR Engineer to work on SoC & Block level Dynamic & Static IR drop assessment & closure, grid robustness work with peak current demands of IPs. Responsibilities include

\n
  • Ability to collaborate and resolve Dynamic & Static IR issues
  • \n
  • Provide Feedback on power grid robustness to Floorplan/APR teams
  • \n
  • Good exposure to high frequency design convergence for PDN and descent exposure VCD flows, RHVoltus/Voltus, Vmin flows
  • \n
  • Evaluate and optimize different power distributions ( voltage rail assignments, regulator assignment.) for a SoC
  • \n
  • Modeling of the power delivery networks, including on-die power gating and in-rush current profiles.
  • \n
  • Modeling of the current profiles and peak current demands of various IPs.
  • \n
  • Evaluate and optimize voltage rail assignment , regulator requirements for SOC
  • \n
  • Working with the system, PMIC and silicon package team to model the voltage response of the power delivery network.
  • \n

    Qualification :

    \n
  • 8+ Years of relevant Experience After a Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree in Electrical/ Electronic/VLSI Engineering or related field.
  • \n
  • Experience in leading block level or chip level Physical Design and EM/IR activities.
  • \n
  • Strong Expertise in assessment of power grid requirement, Good understanding on package & board level requirement
  • \n
  • Understanding of electrical properties of on-die PDN, power gating, package and system power delivery.
  • \n
  • Strong Skills in problem solving , scripting, data analysis and experience with EDA tools.
  • \n
  • Teamwork / flexibility / ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are very important
