J ob Title: Finance Lead - Indirect Taxation and GST

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the GST and Indirect Taxation functions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
\n
• Oversee GST returns, filings, and reconciliation, and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
\n
• Manage tax audits, assessments, and disputes, ensuring a smooth and compliant process.
\n
• Provide strategic guidance on indirect taxation matters for the company's business operations.
\n
• Monitor changes in tax laws and proactively adjust business practices for compliance.
\n
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize tax strategies and minimize financial risk.
\n
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure correct accounting of indirect taxes.
\n
• Support the preparation of tax-related financial statements and reports.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
\n
• 12+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on indirect taxation and GST.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, especially GST, customs, and excise.
\n
• Experience with tax audits, assessments, and resolving disputes.
\n
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
