Job Responsibilities:

The incumbement will be responsible for:

• Planning, monitoring and facilitating the implementation of all agri development programs in the division and to liaison with various Government and non-Governmental organization for maximizing benefit to the Company.
\n
• Evolving strategies for the effective development and supply of agri products to the factories
\n
• Increase productivity (yield per hectare) and improving the quality
\n
• Effective liaison with State and National level Research Stations for sourcing best and proven agronomic practices. Resolve the pending issues / obtain necessary approvals from Government and non Government organizations through effective liaison.
\n
• Fix purchase price through discussion and appraisal of the entire position to the farmers/ growers and determining the price paying capacity based on market price
\n
• Monitors and reviews regularly the performance of the budgeted targets of agri operations department.
\n
• Play a key role in establishing effective network within the industry and in liasoning with Government both State and Centre and State and National level
\n
• Relationship building with local political circle, bureaucrats, opinion makers and touch base with environment.
\n
• Develop good field force for executing the activity plan on time.
\n
• Work for identifying suitability, implementing and arranging required farm machineries for both major and minor farm activities
\n
• Identify irrigation projects in coordination with local team and Government.
\n
• Retain farmers/ growers permanently with our business work in coordination with R&D team and with research stations, universities for farm productivity and improve the economic levels of farmers/growers
\n
• Focus and develop Systems and procedures in robust manner. Create proper controls, checks & balances
\n

Candidate Requirement:

\n
• Looking at candidates with 20+ years of experience in Agri Industry with excellent farmer connects.
\n
• Education: MBA from Premier Institutes / M.Sc. Agri
\n
