  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including full spectrum of employment and labour law matters across diverse workforces, including corporate and manufacturing employees
  • \n
  • Advise on and help ensure compliance with employment and labour legislations, including relating to recruiting and hiring of employees and contingent workers, employee classification, employee contracts, employee privacy, workplace policies and procedures, payroll, benefits and compensation
  • \n
  • Support Employee Relations, Human Resources, and business teams in employment-related decision-making, including restructurings, investigations, and workforce management.
  • \n
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, separation/settlement agreements, and workplace policies.
  • \n
  • Support development and implementation of training for employees across India on critical topics such as harassment prevention.
  • \n
  • Monitor and analyse changes and emerging trends in employment and labour law, providing clear guidance on their implications for business operations, workforce management practices, and compliance obligations.
  • \n

    The Successful Applicant

    \n

    \n

    A successful Legal Counsel should have:

    \n
  • A degree in law from a recognized institution,
  • \n
  • At-least 15 years of experience with a focus on employment laws
  • \n
  • Experience working in the FMCG or food industry will be advantageous.
  • \n
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills for providing sound legal advice.
  • \n
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
