Title- Deputy Manager
\nLocation- Bangalore, India
\nReports to- Head of MICE
\nNo. of working days / timings- Monday to Friday (Flexible timings)
\nJob Purpose
\nAs our Deputy Manager you will lead strategic sourcing, negotiations, and vendor partnerships for domestic and international MICE programs. The role focuses on securing optimal deals across hotels, venues, and travel services while ensuring quality standards, cost-efficiency, and seamless coordination for client and internal events.
Key Responsibilities / Accountability
\n• Hotel & Venue Sourcing Strategy
\n Identify, evaluate, and finalize properties (domestic and international) based on event briefs, budgets, and experience objectives. Build a robust database of hotels, venues, and DMCs.
\n • Vendor Negotiations & Commercial Closures
\n Negotiate commercial rates, value additions, cancellation terms, and payment schedules to optimize margins for each program.
\n • Client & Internal Event Support
\n Coordinate venue bookings and logistics for client-facing MICE events, internal offsites, annual meets, and company-wide travel.
\n • Contracting & Partner Relationship Management
\n Manage end-to-end contracting with hotels, logistics agencies, and visa partners. Maintain long-term relationships to ensure priority service and preferential rates.
\n • Cost Planning & Budget Compliance
\n Work closely with the finance team to estimate costs, track budgets, and ensure all bookings stay within allocated limits while delivering premium experiences.
\n • Market Intelligence & Benchmarking
\n Stay updated with hospitality trends, new properties, seasonal pricing, and industry updates to offer clients fresh, differentiated options.
\n • Documentation & Process Coordination
\n Ensure all hotel and travel documentation, GST compliance, and commercial approvals are in place before execution.
Required Qualifications & Experience
\n• Graduate in Hospitality, Travel, or Event Management; MBA preferred
\n • 5–7 years of relevant experience in hotel/venue sourcing, event logistics, or MICE operations
\n • Strong network of domestic and international hotel chains, venue partners, and travel
\n aggregators
\n • Prior experience handling sourcing for large-scale corporate events and incentive programs
Required Skills & Competencies
\n• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
\n • Deep understanding of hotel contracts, rooming blocks, banquet coordination, and value add-ons
\n • Strong communication and client coordination abilities
\n • High commercial acumen and cost sensitivity
