\nCOGOS is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Business Development Manager to drive
\nbusiness growth within the logistics sector. This independent role offers the opportunity to shape
\nyour own sales strategy, generate new business, and manage client relationships.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n1. Sales & Business Development:
\no Develop and implement strategies to acquire and retain clients.
\no Identify potential customers, generate leads, and build relationships.
\no Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities.
\n2. Client Management: o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring
\nsatisfaction and upselling services.
\n3. Negotiation & Contract Management: o Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and
\nfinalize contracts.
\n4. Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking: o Track sales activities and report
\nperformance against targets.
\n5. Collaboration:
\no Work with operations and marketing teams to execute contracts and create sales
\nmaterials.
\nKey Requirements:
\n• Proven 3-5 years' experience in BDM / sales within the logistics/transportation industry.
\n• Strong understanding of logistics.
\n• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
\n• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
\n• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
\n• Valid driver's license (if applicable) and willingness to travel.
\nPreferred Qualifications:
\n• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or related field.
\n• Experience in Logistics or last-mile delivery.
