\nCore responsibilites
\nThis position requires experience in participating in designing a Secure Development Lifecycle and bringing in security best practices at every step of the systems development cycle, integrating application, and infrastructure security.
\nIn addition, the successful candidate will be involved in the development of any automations and automation solutions, identifying infrastructure requirements and contributing to design decisions impacting the said infrastructures. The role will also involve finding solutions to existing security gaps, and involves hands on coding and scripting.
\nKey Skills:
\nGood grasp of security concepts
\nGood understanding of the entire Software Development Lifecycle
\nKnowledge of security best practices and principles
\nKeen interest in the architecture of applications
\nExpertise in programming: Knowledge in languages like Python, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, and/or Perl
\nFamiliarity with automation: To optimize the operational and security processes, including incident response and mitigation.
\nGood communication and collaboration skills.
\nWillingness to acquire new knowledge
\nGeneral technical savviness
\nRelevant work experience
\n6+ years of relevant industry experience
\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in Software Security
\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in a DevOps Developer or Engineer role or similar.
\nExperience in deploying services and pipelines in AWS/Azure Cloud containerized environments
\nProficiency in scripting in Python and/or other languages (Bash, PowerShell, Perl)
\nExperience in analytics and interactive visualization platforms like Grafana
\nExperience in CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Teamcity, Octopus Deploy, ProGet, artefact factory etc. for build and deployment.
\nExperience in Terraform modules.
\nExperience with cloud-based services
\nFluent in using SCM tools such as Git
\nProficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OCP).
\nVery good understanding of security concepts
\nSelf-starter, organised with self-learning skills, ability to work independently
\nGood communication skills, self-managed and a team player
\nAbility to work effectively as part of a worldwide, agile development team
\n
