Senior Technical Business Analyst – Intelligent Automation, RPA & AI

Position Summary

We are a highly skilled and technically proficient Senior Technical Business Analyst – Intelligent Automation, RPA & AI to drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

This role serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders, automation engineers, architects, and AI development teams to design and deliver scalable automation and AI solutions. Unlike a traditional Business Analyst role, this position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business process knowledge, and program delivery experience.

The successful candidate will lead automation discovery, optimize complex business processes, and support the implementation of end-to-end intelligent automation solutions leveraging RPA, Machine Learning, Generative AI, OpenAI technologies, Process Mining, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), APIs, and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Process Transformation

• Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to identify automation and AI transformation opportunities.

• Lead discovery workshops and assess current-state processes, identifying inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
\n
• Gather, analyze, prioritize, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
\n
• Translate business needs into scalable automation and AI solution designs.
\n
• Develop Process Design Documents (PDDs), workflows, and technical documentation.
\n
• Drive process optimization and enterprise-wide standardization initiatives.
\n

Technical Architecture & Solution Design

\n
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to design secure and scalable solutions.
\n
• Understand end-to-end automation architecture, including:RPAAPIs and integrationsOCR/IDP platformsConversational AIMachine Learning and Generative AI
\n
• Evaluate feasibility, dependencies, and scalability of proposed solutions.
\n
• Support architecture governance and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
\n
• Provide recommendations on reusable automation frameworks and patterns.
\n
• Work across enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, cloud, middleware, and analytics platforms.

Intelligent Automation & AI Strategy

\n
• Identify opportunities to leverage RPA, ML, and Generative AI to drive business outcomes.
\n
• Support AI initiatives such as:GPT/OpenAI implementationsAI agents and orchestration workflowsRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)Intelligent document processing and knowledge automation

• Collaborate on prompt engineering strategies and human-in-the-loop models.
\n
• Evaluate AI use cases for scalability, compliance, and ROI.
\n
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Program & Technical Project Management

• Lead automation and AI initiatives from intake to deployment and operational transition.
\n
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, technology, and vendors.
\n
• Manage delivery timelines, risks, dependencies, and escalations.
\n
• Facilitate workshops to drive alignment and decision-making.
\n
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, releases).
\n
• Provide status reporting and executive-level communication.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
\n
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise-scale transformation or technology initiatives.
\n
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
\n
• 5+ years delivering automation and AI solutions.
\n
• 3+ years of proven experience leading enterprise automation and AI implementations.
\n
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and integrations.
\n
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism).
\n
• Experience with Process Mining, OCR/IDP, APIs, and workflow automation.
\n
• Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and AI solution design.
\n
• Experience with Generative AI and OpenAI/Azure OpenAI technologies.
\n
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and conversational AI frameworks.
\n
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
\n
• Experience in regulated industries (life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services) preferred.
