Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering – Mandatory

Certification or training in Surveying / Total Station / Advanced Survey Techniques preferred

8 – 12 years of experience in construction surveying , preferably in high-rise building or large-scale construction projects

Project Site
\n\n - \n
Plan and manage all site surveying activities for construction works .
\n - \n
Establish primary and secondary control points and benchmarks for the project.
\n - \n
Develop survey strategies to ensure accurate layout and positioning of structures .
\n\n - \n
Oversee setting out of buildings, structural elements, and grid lines as per approved drawings.
\n - \n
Ensure accurate layout of columns, walls, slabs, and other structural components .
\n - \n
Monitor alignment and levels during construction activities .
\n\n - \n
Ensure proper use and maintenance of survey instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, Dumpy Level, and GPS equipment .
\n - \n
Verify calibration and accuracy of survey instruments periodically.
\n - \n
Ensure proper handling and storage of surveying equipment.
\n\n - \n
Verify survey data to ensure dimensional accuracy of structural works .
\n - \n
Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure construction tolerances are maintained .
\n - \n
Conduct periodic checks to prevent misalignment or dimensional errors .
\n\n - \n
Coordinate with civil execution teams, tower incharges, and engineers to support construction activities.
\n - \n
Provide accurate survey references for formwork, reinforcement, and finishing works .
\n - \n
Support site teams in resolving survey-related technical challenges .

Maintain records of survey control points, benchmarks, layout data, and survey reports .

Ensure proper documentation of survey readings and site measurements .
\n - \n
Maintain survey data for future reference and project records .
\n\n - \n
Supervise survey engineers, surveyors, and survey assistants .
\n - \n
Ensure survey teams follow proper survey procedures and safety practices .
\n - \n
Guide junior survey staff in maintaining accuracy and efficiency in survey work .
\n\n - \n
Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and project management teams for survey approvals and verification.

Ensure survey work complies with approved drawings and project specifications .
\n\n - \n
Strong knowledge of construction surveying techniques and practices
\n - \n
Expertise in using Total Station, Auto Level, Dumpy Level, and GPS equipment
\n - \n
Understanding of structural layout and dimensional control in high-rise construction
\n - \n
Ability to interpret construction drawings and coordinates
\n - \n
Proficiency in MS Excel and survey data management
\n\n - \n
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Good coordination with construction and QA/QC teams

\n\nThe Candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing all surveying activities at the construction site . The role involves ensuring accurate layout, level control, structural alignment, and dimensional accuracy for all construction activities.
\nThe candidate will coordinate closely with construction managers, tower incharges, QA/QC teams, and consultants to ensure survey data is accurate and construction work is executed as per approved drawings and coordinates.
