Manager - Plant HR (Automotive Greenfield Project)

Role Overview:
\nWe are looking for a dynamic HR Manager to lead and establish HR functions for a Greenfield manufacturing plant. The role requires strong expertise in Plant HR, Industrial Relations (IR), statutory compliances, and setting up HR processes from scratch. The candidate will play a critical role in building a robust workforce and fostering a positive industrial environment.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Greenfield Project Setup: \n
• Lead end-to-end HR setup for the new plant including manpower planning, HR policies, and systems.
\n• Develop and implement HR frameworks aligned with business goals.
\n• Support plant commissioning activities from an HR perspective.
\n- \n
- Plant HR Operations: \n
• Manage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle management.
\n• Ensure smooth functioning of shop-floor HR activities.
\n- \n
- Industrial Relations (IR): \n
• Handle union interactions, negotiations, and long-term IR strategies.
\n• Maintain harmonious employee relations and resolve grievances effectively.
\n• Drive discipline management and ensure adherence to company policies.
\n- \n
- Statutory Compliance: \n
• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations (Factories Act, CLRA, PF, ESIC, etc.).
\n• Liaise with government authorities and handle audits/inspections.
\n- \n
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: \n
• Lead hiring for plant roles including blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
\n• Develop manpower plans aligned with production ramp-up.
\n- \n
- Employee Engagement & Culture Building: \n
• Design and implement engagement initiatives to build a strong organizational culture.
\n• Drive performance management and capability development programs.
\n- \n
- Policies & Processes: \n
• Draft, implement, and standardize HR policies and SOPs.
\n• Ensure adherence to organizational values and HR best practices.
