Lead Engineer
Job Description
To lead Fire Protection System (FPS) design activities ensuring compliance with life safety codes, reliability standards, and performance requirements through effective design coordination and review.
\nSECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES
\n- Develop FPS design layouts, hydraulic calculations, and system specifications. \n
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, NBC, IS, and TAC standards. \n
- Review sprinkler layouts, hydrant networks, and pump room design. \n
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions. \n
- Conduct value engineering for cost optimization. \n
- Provide design support during site execution and commissioning. \n
- MEP and QA/QC Teams | To align design quality and safety compliance
\n Procurement and Planning Teams | Material and specification coordination \n - Clients and Consultants | Design approval and compliance review
\n Vendors and Integrators | Technical alignment and interface coordination \n - B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering \n
- Proficient in English and local language for on-site coordination \n
- 8–12 years \n
- Proven design and coordination experience in FPS for large buildings, industrial, or infrastructure projects. \n
