Job Description
We are looking for a high-performing Account Executive to drive revenue growth in the US B2B market, with a strong focus on account expansion and retention (70%) while continuing to hunt new business opportunities (30%).
\nThis role is ideal for someone who thrives in consultative sales, understands complex financial products, and can build long-term relationships with decision-makers across Banking, Fintech, and BFSI organizations.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nAccount Management & Expansion (70% – Farming)
\n%CF; Own and grow a portfolio of existing mid-market and enterprise accounts in the US.
\n%CF; Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities across products, features, and use cases.
\n%CF; Build strong relationships with C-level executives, VPs, Directors, and key stakeholders.
\n%CF; Conduct regular QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) to demonstrate value and ROI.
\n%CF; Identify expansion signals based on usage, business growth, and customer needs.
\n%CF; Partner closely with Customer Success, Product, and Support teams to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
\n%CF; Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline updates, and account plans in CRM.
\nNew Business Development (30% – Hunting)
\n%CF; Identify, qualify, and close new logo opportunities within target ICPs.
\n%CF; Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → demo → negotiation → close.
\n%CF; Leverage inbound leads, referrals, and selective outbound efforts.
\n%CF; Represent the company in sales calls, demos, and virtual meetings with US prospects.
\n%CF; Stay informed about competitors, market trends, and regulatory environments in BFSI.
\nRequired Qualifications
\n%CF; 3–7 years of B2B sales experience in Fintech, Banking, BFSI, or SaaS.
\n%CF; Proven experience selling to the US market.
\n%CF; Strong background in account management, renewals, and expansion revenue.
\n%CF; Experience handling complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
\n%CF; Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
\n%CF; Strong understanding of financial services, payments, lending, compliance, or banking tech.
\n%CF; Comfortable working in US time zones.
\n%CF; Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).
\nNice to Have
\n%CF; Experience selling to banks, NBFCs, credit unions, fintechs, or financial enterprises.
\n%CF; Familiarity with compliance, KYC, AML, payments, lending, or core banking systems.
