About the role

As our next Driller to proudly represent our Drill & Blast Team, you will live for challenges and thrive on the variety of work available. Located in the Shire of Yilgarn, on a 14/7 FIFO roster, you will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.

Yilgarn Iron Ore Project includes the sites of Koolyanobbing, Windarling and Parker Range. The Yilgarn region has a long history of iron ore mining and is located in the Shires or Yilgarn and Menzies with ore being railed to Esperance Port for export. The productive mining areas are located on the land of the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Group.

In this role, you will have:

• Drill holes to the right depth and angle as per the drill plan
\n
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and report any equipment issues
\n
• Adjust drilling based on ground conditions
\n
• Follow all safety rules and site procedures
\n
• Work closely with Shotfirers and Supervisors to achieve accurate drill patterns
\n
• Demonstrate knowledge of ground conditions and drilling techniques
\n

About you

To be considered for these opportunities you are required to have:

• Minimum 2 Years' experience in drill and blast operations
\n
• Epiroc T45 experience preferred
\n
• Current Drivers Licence (manual essential)
\n
• HR Licence (advantageous)
\n
• Strong communication skills
\n
