Job Description

* Collaboration in an interdisciplinary, international and agile testing team, responsible for automated as well as manual testing of Festo web applications considering international and internal Festo testing standards

\n * Design, development and maintenance of test setups and tests at application level in connection with GUI and API tests

\n * Use of state-of-the-art technologies and concepts for platform testing

\n * Analyzing the collected test results and creating test protocols in close cooperation with test analysis and test management

The Successful Applicant

A successful Test Automation Engineer for Web Applications should have:

\n * Completed studies in the field of computer science or comparable qualifications * Proven expertise and at least 3 years of practical experience in test development and test automation

\n * Good knowledge of programming in Microsoft .NET/C# and/or Python

\n * Practical experiencewith test frameworks ( Selenium, Ranorex) is an advantage

\n * Experience and routine in agile methods of software development ( SCRUM) desirable

\n * Analytical skills, structured and abstract thinking as well as creativity combined with a very good ability to work in a team

\n * Good written and spoken English communication skills
