Designation: Manager – Branded Hospitality Channel Development & Key Accounts

\n

(West)

\n

Location: Mumbai

\n

Reporting To: Zonal Business Manager – Hospitality

\n

Function: Branded Hospitality Business

\n

Role Purpose

\n

Drive sustainable growth of Welspun's Branded Hospitality business across the

\n

West Zone by strengthening the distributor network, driving primary and secondary

\n

sales, managing key hotel accounts, developing the project pipeline, implementing

\n

channel governance, and supporting strategic Key Account Management (KAM)

\n

initiatives in collaboration with the National KAM team. The role carries complete

\n

ownership of the Mumbai region while contributing to strategic account growth

\n

across the West Zone.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

Achieve annual sales targets for the Mumbai region by driving primary and

\n

secondary sales, expanding market penetration across branded hotels,

\n

identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring profitable business

\n

growth.

\n

Develop, manage, and strengthen the distributor network through business

\n

planning, capability building, productivity improvement, new distributor

\n

appointments, and structured engagement across the West Zone.

\n

Build strategic relationships with hotel chains, procurement teams,

\n

consultants, architects, interior designers, PMCs, contractors, and

\n

distributors while supporting National Key Account initiatives in collaboration

\n

with Shailesh and Snehasish.

\n

Develop and manage a strong branded hospitality project pipeline by

\n

mapping projects, tracking opportunities from specification to order

\n

conversion, and supporting distributors in project closures.

\n

Ensure commercial governance by implementing channel development

\n

policies, maintaining distributor agreements, monitoring compliance,

\n

managing incentive programs, and maintaining accurate commercial

\n

documentation.

\n

Prepare monthly business reviews, sales forecasts, project dashboards, and

\n

market intelligence reports while tracking competition, pricing trends,

\n

business risks, and recommending corrective actions.

\n

Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service,

\n

Finance, and Commercial Excellence teams to ensure seamless execution

\n

and superior customer experience.

\n

Key Interfaces

\n

Internal: Regional Business Manager, National Sales Manager, Key Account

\n

Management Team, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance,

\n

Commercial Excellence.

\n

External: Hotel Owners, Hotel Management Companies, Procurement Heads,

\n

Purchase Managers, Project Consultants, Architects, Interior Designers, PMCs,

\n

Contractors, Distributors, and Dealers.

\n

Annual Success Metrics

\n

Achieve regional sales targets for Mumbai with sustainable primary and

\n

secondary sales growth.

\n

Strengthen the distributor network through measurable productivity

\n

improvements and market expansion.

\n

Increase penetration across branded hotel chains and expand the hospitality

\n

project pipeline with higher conversion rates.

\n

Successfully execute Key Account initiatives in collaboration with the

\n

National KAM team.

\n

Maintain high standards of commercial governance, accurate forecasting,

\n

timely business reporting, and strong long-term customer relationships.
