  • Lead and inspire a Global Service Operation team supporting service engineering, product integrity, and remote diagnostics.

  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance responsiveness, technical expertise, and productivity across the service fleet.
  • \n
  • Oversee modernization, upgrades, and decarbonization projects for global power plant assets.
  • \n
  • Integrate advanced digital technologies and maintain state‑of‑the‑art data connections to high‑value power infrastructure.
  • \n
  • Engage with global partner networks to ensure successful implementation of engineering and service projects.
  • \n
  • Shape long‑term business direction aligned with emerging technology, market, and regulatory conditions.

    The Successful Applicant

    \n

    \n

    A successful Global Head of Service Operation (GSO) should have:

    \n
  • 10+ years in the power generation industry with proven management/leadership experience.
  • \n
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related fields).
  • \n
  • Technical Skills: Gas turbine technology, combined cycle systems, process engineering, decarbonization technologies, and plant maintenance concepts.
  • \n
  • Domain Exposure: Design, analysis, service, and maintenance of turbomachinery; modernization and upgrade projects.
  • \n
  • Strategic planning, transformation leadership, people development, team empowerment, and stakeholder engagement.
  • \n
  • Strong decision-making, project management, communication, and the ability to challenge status quo constructively.
  • \n
  • Innovation-driven & customer-oriented mindset, and comfortable leading cultural and digital transformation efforts.
