Regional Sales Engineer
Job Description

\nThis search is part of our capacity building service wherein we are supporting our client in recruiting the right talent with the desired skill sets. This role is not with Avistrat but our client described below.
\nIntroduction:
\nOur client is a leading manufacturer of mechanical and electro-mechanical products - gears, motors, actuators and bearings across a diverse set of industries including industrial automation, aerospace and defense sector. This role is sector agnostic . Further details to be shared after shortlisting.
\nDesignation: Engineer - Sales
\nLocation: Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Pune or Gujarat
\nMinimum Qualifications:
\n- \n
- BTech in Engineering, perferably Mechanical or Electrical \n
- 2 - 3 years of experience in sales \n
- Must have relevant experience and sound knowledge in the sales of Gears, Motors, Actuators, and Bearings . \n
Required Skills:
\n- \n
- Should have excellent communication and interpersonal and organizational skills. \n
- Should have a degree in engineering and a sound knowledge about the latest marketing trends in order to handle this position efficiently. \n
- Should have strong oral and formal presentation skills. \n
- Should be good at computer Skills/Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). \n
Roles and Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Sales Engineer is required to maintain the pricing information on certain selected items and is involved in the preparation of long term pricing policy in order to enhance the companys profits. \n
- Responsible for market development and product management. \n
- Offering technical support to the marketing team as well as the clients. \n
- Sales Engineer is required to prepare strategies to introduce new products effectively. \n
- Provides on-site sales support for key and target customers. \n
- Performs market, industry, and competitor research, and monitors target account activity. \n
- Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships. \n
- Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development. \n
Sales Management:

- Plan and manage business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy. \n
- Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity. \n
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction. \n
- Develop strategies and deliver excellent sales and after-sales services to maximize sales, customer satisfaction and retention. \n
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods. \n
- Manage the sales activities of the assigned territory and provide detailed, accurate monthly forecasts. Meeting or exceeding monthly and annual unit and revenue goals. \n
- To ensure that the execution of marketing programs achieves the desired objectives and does so in a cost-efficient manner. \n
