Manager - Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes in accordance with Indian GAAP and IFRS.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, FEMA).
\n
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to manage audits and compliance reviews.
\n
• Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls are maintained and improved.
\n

2. Controllership & Governance

\n
• Oversee accounting operations including general ledger, AR/AP, inventory accounting, and fixed assets.
\n
• Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risk and safeguard company assets.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
\n

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

\n
• Drive the annual operating plan (AOP), long-range planning (LRP), and rolling forecasts.
\n
• Support business units in performance tracking, cost control, and variance analysis.
\n
• Collaborate with FP&A team to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to leadership.
\n

4. Strategic Finance Support

\n
• Partner with manufacturing, R&D, and supply chain teams to provide cost analytics, capex ROI assessments, and cash flow planning.
\n
• Lead initiatives in cost optimization, working capital management, and inventory control.
\n
• Support financial due diligence, transfer pricing, and intercompany transactions for global operations.
\n

5. Team Leadership & Development

• Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
\n
• Promote knowledge-sharing, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive finance mindset.
