NOC NETWORK ENGINEER (L1 MONITORING)
Job Description
The NOC Network Engineer is responsible for providing first-line 24x7 Network Surveillance and Event Management support for the RIL Core Network and associated customer MPLS Networks. This role ensures high-level operational continuity by strictly following RIL's Event, Incident, and Change Management procedures.
\nWork 24x7 shifts to provide continuous Network Surveillance and operational support for advanced IP network services.
\nPerform configuration and technical support for Cisco Routing and Switching equipment.
\nAct as the primary customer point of contact for support requests, handling calls and opening/closing Trouble Tickets and Action Items .
\nPerform network monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve L1/L2 incidents.
\nAdhere strictly to Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management procedures.
\nCommunicate operational situations, configurations, and technical information effectively and professionally, both electronically and telephonically.
\nCreate and update documentation to ensure seamless team communication.
\nExperience: Minimum 2+ Years of relevant experience.
\nTechnical Skills:
\no Expertise in Cisco Routers and Switching Equipment .
\no Experience with Routing Protocols .
\no Knowledge of WAN Circuits and Transport .
\no Strong knowledge of Networking and IP Protocols .
