JOB SUMMARY
\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Citrix Engineer (L3) to provide advanced technical support, administration, and engineering services for Citrix environments within a 24x7 managed services organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and supporting infrastructure technologies.
\nThe Senior Citrix Engineer will act as the highest level of technical escalation for complex incidents, problem management activities, infrastructure upgrades, and service improvement initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of Citrix services.
\nMAIN RESPONSABILITIES OVERVIEW:
\nTechnical and Operational Responsibilities

Provide Level 3 support and technical escalation for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments.
\n - \n
Administer and support Citrix Cloud, Citrix DaaS, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Citrix Director, Citrix Studio, and Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
\n - \n
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Citrix infrastructure, application delivery, profile management, and user experience issues.
\n - \n
Manage Machine Creation Services (MCS), Provisioning Services (PVS), and image lifecycle management.
\n - \n
Administer and support Citrix ADC (NetScaler), including load balancing, Gateway, SSL certificates, authentication, and traffic management policies.
\n - \n
Perform Citrix platform upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
\n - \n
Analyze and resolve performance issues impacting Citrix sessions, VDAs, applications, and user experience.
\n - \n
Support profile management technologies including Citrix Profile Management, FSLogix, and Microsoft roaming profiles.
\n - \n
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement long-term corrective actions.
\n - \n
Implement and maintain Citrix security best practices, hardening standards, and compliance requirements.
\n - \n
Support vulnerability remediation activities and ensure timely resolution of security findings.
\n - \n
Collaborate with Windows, VMware, Azure, Networking, Security, Storage, and Identity Management teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
\n - \n
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Citrix SDKs to improve operational efficiency.
\n - \n
Support Citrix monitoring and reporting tools, including Citrix Director, ControlUp, eG Enterprise, and other enterprise monitoring platforms.
\n - \n
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.
\n - \n
Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge articles, and architecture diagrams.
\n - \n
Review and validate technical designs, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
\n - \n
Support cloud transformation initiatives involving Citrix DaaS, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and hybrid cloud architectures.
\n - \n
Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when required.
\n - \n
Identify opportunities for service improvement, automation, standardization, and operational excellence.
\n - \n
Ensure compliance with Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management processes.
\n - \n
Support Change Management activities, including risk assessments, implementation planning, testing, and validation.
\n - \n
Provide technical input for service reviews, operational reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n - \n
Work closely with Service Delivery Managers, Technical Service Coordinators, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful service delivery.
\n - \n
Mentor L1 and L2 engineers through technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and knowledge sharing.
Job Requirements Details: \n - \n
Minimum 6+ years of experience supporting enterprise Citrix environments.
\n - \n
Strong hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) and Citrix DaaS.
\n - \n
Extensive experience with Citrix Cloud, Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, and Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
\n - \n
Strong knowledge of Citrix ADC (NetScaler), including Gateway, Load Balancing, SSL, and authentication mechanisms.
\n - \n
Experience with Machine Creation Services (MCS) and/or Provisioning Services (PVS).
\n - \n
Strong troubleshooting skills across Citrix infrastructure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and user profile management.
\n - \n
Experience supporting Citrix environments hosted on VMware vSphere and Microsoft Azure.
\n - \n
Knowledge of FSLogix, profile management, application layering, and user experience optimization.
\n - \n
Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
\n - \n
Understanding of security best practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
\n - \n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n - \n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n - \n
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise support environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
\n - \n
English Business Fluent.

Participation in on-call support and major incident activities.

\nExperience integrating Citrix with VMware, Azure, Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and enterprise identity platforms.
\nExperience with monitoring tools such as ControlUp, eG Enterprise, Citrix Analytics, and Splunk.
