We are currently seeking a SAP S4 HANA MM / WM Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA MM & WM Consultant to support end-to-end S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects . The consultant will work under the guidance of a Module Lead or Solution Architect, contributing to configuration, testing, data migration support, and post–go-live stabilization of Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) processes.

The role focuses on hands-on functional delivery across Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, and Warehouse Operations, aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices.

Key Responsibilities

SAP MM & WM Configuration

• Configure and support SAP S/4HANA MM processes including:
\n
• Purchasing (PR, PO, RFQ)
\n
• Inventory Management
\n
• Valuation and Account Determination
\n
• Configure and support SAP WM processes including:
\n
• Inbound and Outbound processing
\n
• Putaway and Picking strategies
\n
• Storage types, sections, and bins
\n

S/4HANA Transformation Support

\n
• Support ECC to S/4HANA conversions or greenfield implementations.
\n
• Apply S/4HANA logistics simplifications (MATDOC, real-time FI integration).
\n
• Assist in Fit-to-Standard (F2S) workshops and requirement clarification.
\n

Integration & Collaboration

\n
• Work closely with SD, PP, QM, FI/CO, and EWM teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.
\n
• Support Business Partner (BP) and logistics master data configuration and validation.
\n
• Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, interfaces) for RICEFW objects.
\n

Testing & Data Migration

\n
• Prepare and execute unit testing and SIT test cases for MM & WM scenarios.
\n
• Support UAT and resolve functional defects.
\n
• Assist with data migration validation for materials, vendors, stock, and open documents.
\n

Go-Live & Hypercare

\n
• Support cutover activities , including inventory and warehouse reconciliation.
\n
• Provide hypercare support , troubleshooting issues and ensuring business continuity.
\n
• Document issues, resolutions, and process changes.
\n

Documentation & Methodology

\n
• Prepare and maintain:
\n
• Functional specifications
\n
• Configuration documents
\n
• Test scripts and user guides
\n
• Follow SAP Activate methodology and project standards.
\n

Required Skills & Experience

\n

SAP MM & WM Expertise

\n
• 5–8 years of SAP functional experience in:
\n
• SAP MM (P2P, Inventory Management)
\n
• SAP WM (Classic WM)
\n
• At least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion project
\n
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay and Inventory processes
\n

S/4HANA Knowledge

\n
• Hands-on experience with:
\n
• S/4HANA MM configuration
\n
• Inventory Management simplifications (MATDOC)
\n
• Business Partner (BP) concept
\n
• Awareness of WM to EWM migration options (basic exposure preferred)
\n
• Knowledge on LeanIX, Signavio for process flow preparation and discussion with business team, is an added advantage
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• SAP S/4HANA certification in MM or Logistics
\n
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology
\n
• Industry exposure to Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail, or Consumer Goods
\n
• Basic exposure to Embedded EWM or Stock Room Management
\n

• Good communication and documentation abilities

• Ability to work effectively in onshore–offshore delivery models

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new SAP innovations
