SMT Manager - Gurgaon (10+Years)

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for managing SMT production operations to ensure efficient manufacturing of PCBs with high quality, on-time delivery, and compliance with defined process, safety, and quality standards.

• Plan, manage, and oversee SMT production activities across all shifts and lines.
\n
• Ensure SMT processes (printing, SPI, Pick and Place,reflow,AOI,ICT and router) meet quality and productivity targets.
\n
• Oversee the setup,programming and maintenance of SMT machinery (e.g.,Fuji,Panasonic,Yamaha,Juki) Fuji Preferred.
\n
• Monitor p roduction output, yield, downtime, and defect trends; implement improvement actions.
\n
• Coordinate with quality, engineering, maintenance, and planning teams to resolve production and quality issues.
\n
• Support first article inspection (FAI), new product introduction (NPI), and process validation activities.
\n
• Ensure adherence to IPC standards, customer requirements, and internal work instructions.
\n
• Manage SMT manpower, training, certification, and skill development.
\n
• Review and approve S MT production reports, defect data, and corrective actions.
\n
• Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, and cleanroom procedures at all times.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and cost
\n
• Strong understanding of SMT processes, equipment, and soldering technology.
\n
• Knowledge of SMT quality standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001 preferred).
\n
• Experience in SMT production management and team leadership.
\n
• Ability to analyze production and quality data and drive corrective actions.
\n
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
