Devops Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implement Infrastructure, Develop scalable and secure architecture solutions for deployment, monitoring, and orchestration.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline code releases.

Evaluate and recommend DevOps tools and technologies based on organizational needs.

Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment processes.

Should be able to plan Disaster Recovery, Redundant solutioning for seamless flow of data

Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to ensure high availability and performance of applications and infrastructure.

Incorporate security best practices into the DevOps processes, including identity management, access controls, and vulnerability assessments.

Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues, providing rapid solutions.

Identify and implement performance improvements for applications and infrastructure.

Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for infrastructure processes, and best practices.

Lead training and workshops on DevOps best practices and toolsets for internal teams.

Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues, ensuring swift resolution and prevention of future occurrences.

Stay updated with emerging DevOps trends and incorporate relevant innovations into the company s processes.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with at least 4 years in a leadership or architect position.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Hands on experience of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps, GCP DevOps)

Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and associated instruments.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

Soft Skills:

Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Certifications and Skills:

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solution Architect/Azure Solution Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), etc.

Advanced Skills: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Knowledge : Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing
