Job Description

\n

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced professional to lead the Accounts and

\n

Finance function at Plastics For Change. This role will oversee financial reporting, budgeting,

\n

compliance, audits, fund management, and internal controls. The ideal candidate should

\n

bring strong leadership, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset to ensure financial

\n

health and accountability across the organization.

\n

Roles and Responsibilities:

\n

Accounting & Compliance:

\n

%CF; Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, and

\n

closing activities

\n

%CF; Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all statutory requirements (GST, TDS,

\n

Income Tax, etc.)

\n

%CF; Oversee preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and audit schedules

\n

%CF; Manage external audits (statutory, internal, tax) and regulatory filings

\n

%CF; Monitor implementation and adherence to accounting standards and internal financial

\n

controls

\n

Financial Planning & Analysis:

\n

%CF; Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes

\n

%CF; Track variances against budgets and provide strategic insights to senior leadership

\n

%CF; Support business decision-making with timely and accurate financial analysis and

\n

reporting

\n

%CF; Manage donor and grant financial reporting, if applicable

\n

Fund & Cash Flow Management:

\n

%CF; Ensure optimal fund utilization and liquidity planning

\n

%CF; Oversee working capital management, including receivables and payables

\n

%CF; Support investment planning and long-term financial sustainability strategies

\n

Team Leadership & Process Improvements:

\n

%CF; Manage and mentor the finance and accounts team

\n

%CF; Drive automation and efficiency across finance processes and reporting systems

\n

%CF; Collaborate with cross-functional departments (HR, Operations, Procurement) to

\n

align financial planning

\n

%CF; Lead system upgrades and ensure proper documentation and data integrity

\n

Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

\n

%CF; CA / CMA / MBA Finance / ICWA or equivalent qualification

\n

%CF; 12–15 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management

\n

%CF; Strong knowledge of Indian and International Financial Reporting and Accounting

\n

Standards, taxation, and compliance

\n

%CF; Experience in social enterprise, FMCG, sustainability, or manufacturing sectors

\n

preferred

\n

%CF; Proficient in accounting tools (Tally, Zoho etc..)

\n
