Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
\nThe incumbent will be responsible to add value to business through the role as Cluster MEP Head in Operation Team
\nThis role will manifest from CD, SD, DD, tender, GFC stage and conclude with successful handing over of project to customers by delivering projects on time with high quality by providing JOY to Customers.
\nRole will be responsible for multiple projects under the defined Cluster in the Region.
\nDesign co-ordination along with internal and external stakeholders.
\nDriving adherence to the project plans, product design and quality norms.
\nTimely resolution/support of issues at site.
\nimplementation of all standardization and quality initiatives in given area of work.
\nFinancial /Strategy

\nCost optimization measures to control COC
\nIndependent suggestions of optimization measures from inception to execution for projects
\nWeek on week COC tracking
\nCertifying the vendor bills on time

\nEngineering review of projects
\nReview of all engineering deliverables (DBR, typical calculations, SLDs, drawings at all design stages, tender drawings, BOQ and specifications)
\na) to ensure safe engineering of MEP services as per relevant codes & regulatory compliance
\nb)to provide possible cost optimization recommendations on the submitted deliverables
\nTimely delivery of quality deliverables
\nCost leadership initiatives
\nTimely delivery of quality deliverables
\nSelection of Vendors
\nPreparation of PQ for vendors and assistance to C&P team for process adherence.
\nTimely on boarding of competent vendors with the coordination of C&B and C&P team (cross functional teams).
\nLiaison with statutory bodies
\nCoordinating with Liaisons with Local statutory bodies for power, water supply, etc. for approvals for various projects
\nRepresentation to statutory authorities along with liaison team such as CFO/Fire NOC/Fire CC/BESCOM/Lift approvals etc.
\nContribution during meeting and technical closure for MEP related queries
\nProcess
\nProcess adherence and implementation
\nFollowing the engineering management guidelines and standard formats during appointment of vendors, coordination and technical review activities; maintaining all documentation pertaining to the above activities
\nFinalizing the scope document and payment milestone in line with the standard guidelines along with project specific special conditions of contract for MEP, post alignment with Zonal team on project specific deviations
\nParticipating in the process compliance audits from Zonal team and ensuring implementation of corrective actions
\nProcess Improvement
\nIdentifies processes/procedures in own work area that need Improvement, Recommends process improvement ideas to efficiency/costs/productivity

\nThreshold Education
\nBE/B.Tech Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 12 - 15 years of experience in construction industry as MEP.
\nQualification
\nDesign & Site coordinator.
\nExperience in managing consultants, contractors and internal team in order to complete goals, objectives and schedules.
\nExperience
\nUnderstanding of the real estate development business
\nKnowledge of MEP design and execution such as Electrical, Plumbing and firefighting system.
\nBasic knowledge on BIM implementation
