Job Description
What you'll do:
\nDesign, architect, implement and help operate the Machine Learning platform
\nby
\no Develop and gain insight in the application architecture.
\no Distill an abstract architecture into concrete design and influence the
\nimplementation.
\no Observing inefficiencies, both in cost and reliability, of existing
\nprocesses
\no Researching alternative solutions using custom or existing open-source
\ntechnologies
\no Designing replacement processes and components
\no Implementing processes, extending and configuring open-source
\ncomponents
\nWork with the ML DevOps and Support teams to operate the ML platform by
\no Helping implement DevOps best practices of in-house and open-
\nsource components
\no Ensuring smooth operation via monitoring and alerting facilities
\nWork with the ML data scientists to
\no Apply the appropriate software engineering patterns to build robust and
\nscalable systems for both model building and serving.
\nTechnical Environment:
\nSoftware: Python 3.*
\nApplication Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, Reactive, event-driven, secure multi-
\ntenant Microservices architecture
\nCloud: Google Cloud
\nFrameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Pub/Sub, Big Query, Apache Beam,
\nDataFlow, KubeFlow, Keras, TensorFlow, Flask.
\nWhat we are looking for:
\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science is required, Masters is preferred
\n6+ years of software engineering experience building production software
\nGood working knowledge of Kubernetes and other virtualized execution
\ntechnologies
\n2+ years of experience working on at least one cloud environment, GCP
\npreferred
\n3+ years of Python programming experience with excellent understanding of
\nObject-Oriented Design & Patterns
\n2+ years of experience in building REST APIs
\n2+ Working Experience on Kafka and its integration with Cloud Services.
