\n\nWe are seeking a tech-savvy Retail Application and Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is designed for a retail professional who bridges the gap between floor operations and technical troubleshooting. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience by maintaining high operational standards and serving as the first line of defense for our POS & Check-Out Systems, RFID inventory systems and POS network infrastructure.
\nThe ideal candidate has a solid foundation in retail management and a "tinkerer" mindset when it comes to the hardware and connectivity that keeps a modern store running.
\n\nProfile
\n\n- 1. POS & Network Maintenance :
- Monitor and maintain Point of Sale (POS) Application, hardware, including terminals, receipt printers, and scanners. \n
- Perform basic troubleshooting for network-related POS issues (e.g., identifying IP conflicts, checking Ethernet connectivity, or resetting routers/access points). \n
- End to End knowledge on POS and Payment machines connectivity and functionality. \n
- Coordinate with IT or third-party vendors for escalated hardware failures or ISP outages. 2. Retail & Inventory Operations : \n
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring visual merchandising standards and customer service excellence are met. \n
- Lead inventory cycles using RFID technology to ensure 99%+ stock accuracy. \n
- Train floor staff on the proper use of RFID handhelds and stationary readers.
\n 3. Technical knowledge :
\n - Fair knowledge in Java, NoSQL queries, Network level technical understanding to debug the reported issues. . \n

Address and resolve the reported issues within the promised SLA to keep the end user satisfied by using the right escalation matrix.
Required Qualifications :
\n - Experience: 6-8 years of experience in a high-volume retail environment, preferably in a lead or supervisory role. \n
- Technical Skills : Java, NoSQL, MySQL. \n
- RFID Proficiency: Basic understanding of RFID technology (tags, readers, and middleware) and its application in inventory management. \n
- Networking Fundamentals: Functional knowledge of store networking—understanding the difference between LAN/WAN, basic Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and how POS systems communicate with servers. \n
- Problem Solving: Ability to remain calm during "system down" scenarios and methodically troubleshoot hardware/connectivity issues. \n
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable updates for both technical teams and non-technical store staff. \n
- Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of aligning expectations and maintaining proactive relationships with vendors, project managers, and store leadership. \n

Open for Mobility: Flexible and willing to travel to various store locations as needed to provide hands-on technical leadership and support.
Technical Skills Checklist : \n - \n
Fair hands-on experience in Java, MySQL and NoSQL technologies.
