The Head – Plant & Machinery (P&M) will be responsible for centralized leadership, governance, and operational excellence of all construction plant, equipment, and associated electrical systems across projects.

\n

The role will ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective utilization of machinery while driving compliance, standardization, and innovation in equipment management practices.

  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide P&M strategy aligned with business growth plans
  • \n
  • Establish policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks for plant & equipment lifecycle management
  • \n
  • Drive standardization of machinery specifications across projects
  • \n
  • Oversee procurement, deployment, utilization, and maintenance of construction equipment
  • \n
  • Optimize asset productivity through effective planning and utilization benchmarking
  • \n
  • Monitor equipment health, lifecycle costs, and replacement strategies
  • \n
  • Ensure safe installation, operation, and maintenance of temporary and permanent electrical systems at sites
  • \n
  • Define electrical safety protocols and audit compliance across projects
  • \n
  • Ensure strict adherence to EHS standards and statutory regulations related to P&M
  • \n
  • Drive safety initiatives, risk assessments, and preventive controls
  • \n
  • Monitor contractor and vendor compliance with safety norms
  • \n
  • Introduce digital tools for equipment tracking, predictive maintenance, and reporting
  • \n
  • Drive automation and modernization of plant operations
  • \n
  • Promote use of sustainable and energy-efficient machinery
  • \n
  • Lead and mentor a centralized P&M team and site-level engineers
  • \n
  • Build technical capability across projects
  • \n
  • Collaborate with Projects, Procurement, and EHS teams
  • \n

    Educational Qualification

    \n
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
  • \n
  • Postgraduate qualification (preferred but not mandatory)
  • \n

    Candidate Profile

    \n

    \n
  • 20+ years of experience in construction/real estate/infrastructure
  • \n
  • Proven leadership experience handling multi-project P&M operations
  • \n
  • Experience in large EPC/real estate organizations preferred
  • \n
