Senior Staff Engineer, ERP Dynamics Functional (Dynamics 365 Business Central, NAV)

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience 8+ years
\n
• Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, integrations, and support.
\n
• Strong functional expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance and Supply Chain modules.
\n
• Proven experience delivering at least 2 full project lifecycle implementations as a Lead Consultant or Solution Architect.
\n
• Strong experience in client-facing consulting roles with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Good understanding of business processes and ability to translate business requirements into Dynamics 365 Business Central configurations.
\n
• Experience with system setup, configuration, data migration, and integration capabilities in Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
\n
• Ability to evaluate and utilize the latest Dynamics 365 Business Central functional features to deliver optimized solutions.
\n
• Strong requirements analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to design practical business solutions.
\n
• Experience working with both onshore/offshore teams and third-party implementation partners.
\n
• Global implementation experience is preferred.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
\n
• Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
\n
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is preferred.
\n

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV solutions, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product features and capabilities.
\n
• Work directly with clients to understand business objectives, define project scope, and gather functional requirements.
\n
• Conduct requirements analysis, business process reviews, and process re-engineering workshops.
\n
• Map business requirements to standard Dynamics 365 Business Central functionality and identify configuration, customization, and integration requirements.
\n
• Design comprehensive functional solutions aligned with client business processes and industry best practices.
\n
• Provide functional expertise across Finance and Supply Chain modules of Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
\n
• Own solution framework design and ensure successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
\n
• Prepare project documentation, including requirement documents, functional specifications, solution designs, and user guides.
\n
• Support system configuration, data migration activities, testing, and deployment activities.
\n
• Conduct user training sessions on standard and customized Business Central functionality.
\n
• Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
\n
• Provide project status updates, highlight risks/issues, and communicate effectively with multiple levels of the organization.
\n
• Support global implementations and collaborate with onshore, offshore, and third-party implementation teams.
\n
