Festivals From India is hiring for their client, Ashvita's , who is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide administrative, documentation, compliance, and coordination support to the leadership team. The role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage records, coordinate with external stakeholders, support statutory and compliance processes, and ensure smooth day-to-day administrative operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, has strong documentation skills, and is comfortable interacting with professionals such as auditors, company secretaries, bankers, and consultants.

Established in 2002 by Ashvin E. Rajagopalan, Ashvita’s is a diversified art business specialising in Indian Art and collectables. Headquartered in Chennai, Ashvita’s conducts museum-quality exhibitions and operates ashvitas.com, a premier online auction house. Ashvita’s provides a vast range of art services that include private acquisitions and sales, wealth management, valuation, conservation, archival services, display and art logistics. Ashvita’s works with select individual collectors, corporate collections, and institutions. \nRequirements \n
Essential Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
\n - Professional-level written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in English
\n - Knowledge of at least one vernacular Indian language is ideal, Tamil preferred
\n
Essential Experience:
- \n
- 3-5 years of experience in executive assistance, administration, compliance coordination, office management, or a similar role.
\n - Prior experience working for a structured company.
\n - Interest in art and culture is preferred.
\n - Competency using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
\n - Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Slack, Trello, etc. and with digital advertising platforms, social media marketing tools, and mass mailing software is ideal.

\nEssential Qualifications: MA History of Art or MA Museology, Conservation of Art/Heritage, BFA/MFA, or MSc. In Chemistry from a recognised University Strong communication skills, with written and verbal proficiency in English Knowledge of at least one vernacular Indian language is ideal Competency in using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint Essential Experience: 3-5 years of experience, ideally with an art gallery, museum or a private art collection Prior experience working with mixed media, managing physical artworks Prior experience working for a structured company Key Personal Attributes & Skills: Creative individual with drive, sincerity and ability to work efficiently and accurately according to instruction Ability to collaborate and work with a team to achieve common goals Highly organised and detail-oriented with good observation skills Values of adaptability and sincerity are critical A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills Conscientious attitude with the ability to handle precious objects with care Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
