    Job Description

  • Build and run the Technology Centre of Excellence in Pune from scratch.
  • \n
  • Hire and scale teams across:Software development & maintenance (Microsoft stack, Java, proprietary apps).Azure cloud operations (infrastructure, automation, FinOps).Digital workplace & end-user computing.ITIL-based service management (ServiceNow).
  • \n
  • Define strategy, delivery model, and governance.
  • \n
  • Ensure quality delivery aligned to SLAs/KPIs.
  • \n
  • Act as a senior escalation point for global clients.
  • \n
  • Drive modernization (cloud-native, microservices, automation).
  • \n
  • Report directly to the Group CIO and join the global tech leadership team.
  • \n

    The Successful Applicant

    \n

    \n

    A successful Global Delivery Centre Lead - IT Services should have:

    \n
  • Proven GCC build experience (zero-to-one or major scale-up).
  • \n
  • 15+ years in IT services/captive centres; 10+ years in senior leadership.
  • \n
  • Exposure to the insurance/financial services domain or any regulated industry like Pharma or Banking
  • \n
  • Strong in Microsoft stack, Azure cloud, ITIL processes.
  • \n
  • Experience managing 300+ FTE tech teams.
  • \n
  • Global stakeholder management (US/UK clients).
  • \n
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary tech teams (engineering, infra, service mgmt).
