\nWe are seeking a skilled Production Support Engineer with expertise in Switching Systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide end-to-end support for our production environment, ensuring smooth operation of payment systems and transaction switches. This includes troubleshooting, monitoring, incident resolution, and performance tuning.

\nKey Responsibilities:
\n•Production Support:
\noProvide 24/7 support for all Switch-related production environments, including transaction switching systems and related applications.
\noTroubleshoot and resolve any production issues related to transaction switching, card payment systems, or banking network integrations.
\noInvestigate, analyse, and resolve issues in real-time to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
\n•Monitoring & Performance Tuning:
\noContinuously monitor the performance of Switch systems and ensure high availability and stability.
\noAnalyze logs, transaction records, and system alerts to proactively identify issues before they impact production.
\n•Incident Management:
\noAct as the primary point of contact for critical production incidents and escalate to appropriate teams if needed.
\noManage incident resolution using standard operating procedures and best practices.
\n•Deployment & Maintenance:
\noAssist in deploying updates, patches, and fixes to production systems.
\noCollaborate with development teams to ensure smooth implementation of new releases or features.
\n•Documentation & Reporting:
\noCreate and maintain operational documentation for the Switch environment, including troubleshooting guides, runbooks, and incident reports.
\noProvide regular reports on system performance, incident trends, and service uptime.
\n•Collaboration:
\noWork closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, Network, and Infrastructure teams, to ensure seamless operation of the switching systems.
\noParticipate in root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews for major incidents.
\n•Compliance & Security:
\noEnsure that all activities are in compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS).
\noFollow security best practices to safeguard payment systems and sensitive customer data.
\nPreferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
\n•Experience in Postilion Switch.
\n•Knowledge of Position Realtime switch and office switch in card payments industry.
\n•Familiar with ISO8583/Transactions flows and HSM and other EFT Formats.
\n•Good knowledge on support Postilion Realtime, Office, and Postcard components.
\n•Experience in production support, specifically in payment switching or financial services (e.g., EMV, card transactions, and EFT systems).
\n•Hands-on experience with transaction switch platforms such as ACI, Postilion.
\n•Strong knowledge of payment protocols (ISO 8583, HSM, etc.) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.).
\n•Proficiency in SQL and database management (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server).
\n•Experience with monitoring tools
\n•Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
\n•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
