Proposal Manager
Job Description
Responsible for management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP). Assigned proposals may range from small to large scope and generally have medium to high-risk profiles. For Complicated proposals, Responsible for driving pursuit teams in the management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP).
\nTypically, pursuit manager has a primary solution (Wider Infrastructure Advisory Solutions portfolio in this case), or a primary client with multiple solutions they focus on to achieve results.Provides technical or industry knowledge to contribute to the completion of multiple engagement phases. Demonstrate capabilities with moderate level of oversight and collaboration with more senior level professionals. May delegate team work assignments through various phases of an engagement. May manage projects from prospect to client deliverable.

Interface directly with and provide support to the sales manager, project director, and project manager to:

Set proposal execution strategy and schedule

Assemble proposal response team

Develop the project execution plan, value proposition, and win strategies

Ensure conceptual design and business enablement functional teams (estimating, project controls, construction, procurement, subcontracts, LIFTT) are held accountable for deliverables in line with proposal timelines

Monitor and manage pursuit team expenditures to align with approved budgets

Participate in cost reviews and influence competitive pricing and value offerings
\n - \n
Facilitate risk determination/mitigation and leadership approval discussions
\n - \n
Support negotiation and closure of deals

Facilitate transition of proposal basis information to the project execution team after contract signature

\n\n\n\n Preferred Qualifications \n\n\nMinimum - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.;
\nHighly Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical project execution field. 12-15 years of engineering, project execution or technical pursuit management experience (atelast 3-5 years in this role is a must) – including exposure on proposals on asset management, digital advisory for utilities, program management, etc. Experience on proposals for one or more from the following sectors - power, oil & gas, water utilities is highly preferred.

Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience. 7+ years experience in a business/consulting environment.
