SAP Basis Consultant

We are currently seeking a SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

Looking for an SAP S/4HANA Basis Consultant to manage, support, and optimize SAP landscapes with a focus on S/4HANA systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP Basis administration, system monitoring, installations, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning across SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities
\n - Administer, monitor, and maintain SAP S/4HANA landscapes, including development, quality, and production systems.
\n - Perform SAP system installation, configuration, refresh, client copy, kernel upgrades, and patch management.
\n - Manage system start/stop, transport management, spool administration, background jobs, and user administration.
\n - Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, upgrade, migration, and conversion projects.
\n - Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and issue resolution to ensure high availability and stability.
\n - Manage SAP HANA database administration activities in coordination with database teams or independently, where applicable.
\n - Work on system copies, backups, recovery support, and disaster recovery planning.
\n - Support SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, Web Dispatcher, and SAP Cloud Connector administration.
\n - Maintain security-related Basis activities including roles coordination, SSL certificates, and RFC connections.
\n - Collaborate with infrastructure, network, database, and application teams for environment support.
\n - Ensure proper documentation, compliance with operational procedures, and adherence to SAP best practices.

Required Skills
\n - Strong experience in SAP Basis administration.
\n - Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA systems and landscape support.
\n - Knowledge of SAP installation, upgrades, patching, transport management, and system refresh activities.
\n - Familiarity with SAP HANA database administration concepts.
\n - Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, Web Dispatcher, and Cloud Connector.
\n - Understanding of SAP Solution Manager, monitoring tools, and system performance analysis.
\n - Experience in Unix/Linux and Windows server environments.
\n - Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
\n - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
\n - 5+ years of SAP Basis experience, depending on role level.
\n - Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or support projects.
\n - SAP Basis, SAP HANA, or S/4HANA certification is a plus.
\n - Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for SAP hosting is an added advantage.
