What impact will you create?
\nAs an Integration Specialist, you will play a vital role in enabling seamless communication between diverse systems and applications through the creation, management, and optimization of APIs and data exchange processes. You will ensure that data flows between applications efficiently and securely, supporting key business processes and enhancing overall operational effectiveness. Your expertise in managing APIs and data exchange will drive system interoperability, reliability, and the ability to scale operations.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nAPI Development and Management:
\no Design, develop, and implement APIs to enable seamless integration between various applications.
\no Ensure APIs are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance, supporting real-time and batch processing requirements.
\no Monitor and maintain API performance, addressing any issues related to latency, data errors, or outages.
\nData Exchange and Integration:
\no Facilitate efficient and reliable data exchange between internal and external applications, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
\no Build, maintain, and monitor scheduled jobs for data transfers, ensuring smooth operation of data workflows.
\no Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map data between different systems and create solutions for data migration, transformation, and loading.
\nSystem Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
\no Develop and implement monitoring processes for APIs, scheduled jobs, and data exchange workflows.
\no Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless communication between systems.
\no Perform regular audits and health checks on integration points to ensure data integrity and security.
\nAutomation and Scheduling:
\no Create and manage scheduled jobs for automated data exchange, ensuring jobs run successfully and on time.
\no Optimize automation workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve process efficiency.
\no Implement logging and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues with scheduled jobs or integrations.
\nCollaboration and Documentation:
\no Work closely with application developers, database administrators, and business analysts to define integration requirements and create solutions.
\no Maintain comprehensive documentation of all integration points, APIs, and workflows, including version control and updates.
\no Communicate integration designs and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
\nSecurity and Compliance:
\no Ensure that all data exchanges comply with organizational and regulatory security standards.
\no Implement best practices for API security, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
\no Regularly review and update security protocols to protect sensitive data during integration processes.

\nWho are we looking for?
\nKey Skills (Must Have)
\nProven experience in designing, developing, and managing APIs using REST, SOAP, or other relevant technologies.
\nStrong understanding of data exchange methodologies, including ETL processes, file transfers (FTP, SFTP), and real-time data streaming.
\nExperience with API management platforms and tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Apigee).
\nExpertise in creating and monitoring scheduled jobs for automated data exchange processes.
\nStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve integration and data flow issues.
\nFamiliarity with cloud-based integration platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Logic Apps) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
\nGood understanding of security protocols for data exchange, including OAuth, SSL/TLS, and encryption techniques.
\nKey Skills (Nice to Have)
\nFamiliarity with design systems and atomic design principles.
\nExperience with animation and interaction design tools (e.g., Principle, Framer).
\nKnowledge of user behaviour analytics tools such as Hotjar or Google Analytics.
\nUnderstanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks for collaborative design and development.
\nEducation
\nA bachelor s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
\nExperience
\n3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing user-centered designs across multiple platforms.
