Bristlecone is seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in AWS cloud databases. The candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing AWS Aurora databases to ensure performance, availability, and security.

• Administer and manage AWS Aurora (MySQL/PostgreSQL) databases
\n
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
\n
• Execute database performance tuning and query optimization
\n
• Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
\n
• Handle database migrations using AWS DMS
\n
• Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform
\n
• Monitor database health and troubleshoot production issues
\n
• Ensure data security, compliance, and high availability
\n

\n
• 5+ years of DBA experience
\n
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Aurora (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
\n
• Proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning
\n
• Experience with AWS DMS
\n
• Working knowledge of Terraform
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n

• Experience in AWS production environment.
