Easebuzz- QA Lead/Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead with strong hands-on experience in Python-based automation to lead quality initiatives across our products. The role requires both technical expertise and team leadership , ensuring end-to-end quality delivery in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team, including task allocation, mentoring, and performance tracking.
\n
• Define QA strategy, testing standards, and best practices across projects.
\n
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Python, Pytest, and Playwright .
\n
• Perform and oversee API testing using Postman for manual testing.
\n
• Implement automation for APIs using Python Request library .
\n
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
\n
• Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
\n
• Review requirements, user stories, and technical designs for testability.
\n
• Track, report, and drive closure of defects with engineering teams.
\n
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
\n
• Ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards relevant to fintech products.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications

\n
• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead / Team Lead role .
\n
• Strong hands-on experience with Python automation using Pytest and Playwright .
\n
• Experience in API testing using Postman for manual testing.
\n
• Hands-on experience with Python Request library for API automation.
\n
• Solid understanding of manual testing concepts and test design techniques .
\n
• Experience in handling and mentoring QA teams (mandatory ).
\n
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies .
\n
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
\n
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
\n

Good to Have

\n
• Experience in fintech, payments, BFSI, or transactional systems .
\n
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
\n
• Exposure to performance or security testing .
\n
• Experience with databases and SQL.
