Role Overview

The will be responsible for implementing and monitoring SHE policies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and driving a culture of safety across the MAHSR T-1 Project. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

    Develop, implement, and monitor SHE management systems in line with company and project requirements.

  • \n
  • \n

    Ensure compliance with national and international safety standards, regulations, and codes of practice.

  • \n
  • \n

    Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation planning.

  • \n
  • \n

    Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation.

  • \n
  • \n

    Organize and oversee SHE training programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns for project staff.

  • \n
  • \n

    Liaise with statutory authorities, consultants, and stakeholders on SHE matters.

  • \n
  • \n

    Prepare and maintain SHE documentation, reports, and audit records.

  • \n
  • \n

    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety and environmental sustainability.

  • \n
  • \n

    Supervise SHE teams and provide guidance to junior officers and site staff.

  • \n

    \n

    Qualifications (Minimum Requirement)

    \n

    \n
  • \n

    B.E/B. Tech with Govt.-recognized full-time regular Diploma in Safety.

  • \n
  • \n

    Full-time regular B.E/B. Tech in Safety.

  • \n
  • \n

    Govt.-recognized full-time PG Degree in Environmental Engineering/Sciences with full-time Govt.-recognized Safety Diploma/Degree.

  • \n
  • \n

    Science Degree with International Qualifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or NEBOSH Diploma.

  • \n

    \n

    Experience

    \n

    \n
  • \n

    Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Safety, Health & Environment roles.

  • \n
  • \n

    At least 3 years of experience in similar works (Railway/Metro track work projects preferred).

  • \n

    \n

    Desired Skills

    Strong knowledge of SHE regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • \n
  • \n

    Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • \n
  • \n

    Ability to manage SHE audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.

    Proficiency in incident investigation and risk management.

  • \n
  • \n

    Capability to train and mentor teams on SHE practices.
