\nJOB TITLE: Executive Assistant
\nLocation: Chennai India
\nROLE-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
\nMarket and promote the business interests of Western Australia (WA), its representative department and its clients in India;
\nProvide high level administrative, research and project support to the Commissioner and office staff;
\nEstablish processes and procedures for post in liaison with head office.
\nManages and maintains diaries and prepares and coordinates meeting documentation;
\nPrepares documents including letters, reports, presentations and briefing material;
\nPrepares payment of invoices and credit card reconciliations for authorization by the Deputy Director General;
\nEnsures correspondence and other documentation is filled in accordance with the departmental information management systems and policies;
\nAssist and facilitate visits to India and Gulf by business visitors and delegates from Western Australia as required;
\nOrganizes travel arrangement, including travel proposals, accommodation bookings, itineraries and reconciliation of travel expenses, ensuring adherence to government and departmental travel policies and guidelines;
\nCoordinates and ensure tasks assigned to the Commissioner and group are actioned within specified timeframes;
\nPerforms other duties as directed.
\nJOB REQUIREMENTS
\nDemonstrated experience providing high level support at executive level.
\nDemonstrate ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matter with tact and discretion.
\nStrong verbal and written local and English language skills.
\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to support building a high performing team.
\nCAPABILITIES
