Job Description
- Opportunity to work in the dairy and food systems industry \n
- Opportunity to drive policy interventions in the dairy space \n\n
- Lead research in the dairy sector at a pan-India level and identify interventions across the value chain for the same. \n
- Work with different state governments and identify white spaces in the dairy sector as a whole \n
- Go beyond the aspect of milk production and also look at the overall aspect of livestock rearing, managing GHG emission in the sector and animal husbandry \n
- Understanding the drivers of the Indian consumers which will enable development of strategies to transform consumer behaviour \n
- Work on a National Model for Dairy which will involve identifying the white spaces, the risks and policy interventions for growth in the dairy sector \n
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to support strategic decision-making. \n
- Monitor the progress of implemented strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals. \n\n
- A relevant educational background in the Dairy or Veterinary Science domain \n
- Atleast 12+ years of experience in the food systems and dairy industry \n
- Expertise of working in the dairy value chain - livestock, animal husbandry and bovine sector \n
- Stakeholder management experience is a must - the candidate should have an experience of working with external and internal stakeholders \n
- Expertise in developing policy interventions in the dairy sector at a pan-India level \n
- Experience of working across multiple states with senior stakeholders to drive policy initiatives in the dairy sector \n
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
