\n\nKey Responsibilities
\n1. Classification & Licensing
\n- Sound Knowledge of ITAR/ECCN, HS Code, and SCOMET classification of products, technology, and software. \n
- Support in SCOMET license applications (DGFT/DODP), including EUCs, technical justifications etc. \n
- Maintain license trackers and ensure adherence to license terms and provisos. \n
- Support intra-company technology transfer reviews and export of technical data. \n
- Maintain and manage export control and sanctions procedures, workflows, and records in line with the Internal Compliance Program (ICP). \n
- Support SEZ documentation and compliance reporting. \n
- Awareness of TCP and FCP \n
- Review Statement of Works SOWs, Master Service Agreement and other contracts to identify export-control clauses and data transfer Implications. \n
- Ensure proper use of IEC, DODP and DGFT portals for application filing and status tracking. \n
- Maintain organized, auditable export-control records and documentation to support internal and regulatory reviews \n
- Conduct restricted-party screening (RPS) of customers, suppliers, and intermediaries using approved compliance tools \n
- Evaluate end-use/end-user information and identify red-flag transactions and sanctions -country involvement. \n
- Ensure compliance with US, EU, UK, and UN sanctions; advise on export embargoes and licensing exceptions. \n
- Deliver periodic training sessions to engineering, sourcing, and logistics teams. \n
- Develop internal FAQs, compliance playbooks, and decision trees for SCOMET and EAR controls. \n
- Coordinate annual ICP audits and mock reviews. \n
- Support in DGFT, DODP, and Customs authorities for license and documentation queries. \n
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, legal, and global trade teams to ensure seamless export operations. \n
- Interface with US/UK counterparts for re-export approvals and technical data reviews. \n
- Bachelor’s in engineering / science / commerce; MBA or Law degree preferred. \n
- 5–10 years’ experience in Export Control / Global Trade Compliance, ideally in aerospace, defence, or high-tech industries. \n
- Strong understanding of Indian SCOMET List, DGFT procedures, and DODP licensing. \n
- Familiarity with EAR, ITAR, EU/UK dual-use, and OFAC sanctions regimes. \n
- Experience using SAP GTS, OCR, or similar compliance automation tools. \n

\nRegulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of export control frameworks.
\nAnalytical Skills: Ability to interpret product specifications and map ECCN/SCOMET categories.

\nEthical Judgement: Uphold zero-tolerance policy for non-compliance.
