Job Description

Amazon India Ads Finance is seeking an Analyst to join our Sales Incentive Planning (SIP) & Insights team. The SIP team is responsible for the end-to-end administration of incentive compensation programs for sales incentive-eligible employees across the Ads business in India.\n

\nIn this role, you will own the day-to-day operations of the incentive system — including reconciliations, calculation and payout file preparation, compensation plan administration, and query resolution. You will also design and implement operational processes and mechanisms that improve accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of our compensation programs. This is a high-visibility role that requires close collaboration with Sales, HR and WW Ads Finance stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payouts while maintaining strong governance and compliance.\n

\nKey job responsibilities\n
\nKey responsibilities include:\n
\nReconciliations — Reconcile source data with payout systems to ensure accuracy and completeness each cycle\n
\nCalculation & Payout Files — Prepare, validate, and submit incentive calculation and payout files for timely disbursement\n
\nSIM/Query Management — Manage SIM tickets and resolve queries\n
\nProcess Design — Design and document SOPs and operational mechanisms to drive consistency and reduce manual effort\n
\nUAT — Perform user acceptance testing for system and process changes before go-live\n
\nGovernance & Compliance — Ensure all activities adhere to approved policies, methodologies, and audit requirements\n
\nStakeholder Coordination — Partner with HR, Sales, and finance counterparts on plan changes, escalations, and approvals\n
\nScalability — Build mechanisms (automation, templates, dashboards) to improve efficiency as the program scales\n
\n

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

\n

- Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com)\n
\n- Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level\n
\n- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications\n
\n

\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

\n

- 3+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience\n
