Job Role: Deputy Plant Manager

Roles and Responsibilites:

• Optimize the process to boost productivity.

• Lead and help with Six Sigma, Lean, etc. continuous improvement efforts.
\n
• Implement best practices and creative ways to improve plant operations.
\n
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and municipal food, environmental, and workplace safety laws.
\n
• Frequent safety checks and training promote workplace safety.
\n
• Address non-compliance immediately.
\n
• Manage inventories to ensure packaging and raw material supplies.
\n
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement to provide materials quickly and cheaply.
\n
• Manage contractor and supplier relationships.
\n
• Develop and manage the plant's budget.
\n
• Monitor manufacturing costs and minimize costs whenever possible.
\n
• Use operational and financial data to decide.
\n
• Report operational performance, quality, and production regularly.
\n
• Inform upper management of findings.
\n
• Improve plant performance using data insights.
\n
