Job Description : The purpose of this position is to enable end-to-end efficient and professional Management and Administration of canteen and pantry services, provide and sustain high quality, healthy and tasty food to associates, customers, and visitors, to continuously enhance Employee Experience. Continuously guide, coach, monitor the Efficiency and cost while running canteen efficiently.
\n1. Menu Engineering And Costing
\nKey activities: Analyze consumption patterns and trends. Evaluate menu impact on costs. Optimize menu for balance of taste, cost, and quality.
\nKey Result Areas / Indicators : Cost per head
\n2. Food Quality, Delivery & Controlling
\nKey activities: supervise food quality in preparation, focusing on controllable factors. Implement and regularly evaluate SOPs, ensuring FIFO compliance.
\nKey Result Areas / Indicators : Customer/employee experience index
\n3. Compliance and Dcoumentation Document canteen management activities and ensure compliance.
\nKey activities: Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations

\n4. Canteen Administration, Management
\nKey activities: Ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Train contract workers on hygiene, safety, and service. collaborate with the Canteen Committee to design a cost efficient, balanced menu. Analyze feedback and improve the dining experience.

\n5. Budget Management
\nKey activities: Monitor and control canteen operations to ensure costs remain within the allocated budget.
\nKey Result Areas / Indicators : Canteen Expenses within the Budget
\n6. Benchmark Canteen Services
\nKey activities: Continuously benchmark canteen services internally and externally to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance processes. Promote the kitchen and dining hall as a benchmark for best practices to inspire excellence.

Education
\n* Bachelors degree in Hotel Management
\nExperience
\n* 10-15 years of know how on canteen management
\n* Minimum 5 years of manufacturing industry exposure
\n\n

Knowledge
\n* Proficient level of knowledge and understanding the costing
\n* Competent level of knowledge on various compliance standards while running canteen
\nFunctional skills
\n* Expert level of knowledge on designing recipe / menu
\n* Proficient level of skill in negotiation with the vendor
\n* Proficient level of skill in managing / convincing canteen committee and workers union
