AVP - Hedge fund accounting

We're looking for seasoned professionals with over 10 years of experience in Fund Accounting and proven team management experience to join a leading global financial services organization in Mumbai.
Role: AVP- Hedge Fund Accounting
Location: Mumbai
Timings: 2pm to 11pm
Key Responsibilities:
'14;️ Oversee end-to-end Hedge Fund Accounting and Fund Administration activities
'14;️ Review and approve Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and financial statements
'14;️ Perform Fund Valuation, Investor Allocation, and P&L/Performance Analysis
'14;️ Review financial reports, regulatory deliverables, and year-end audit deliverables
'14;️ Manage payment approvals and fund-related transactions
'14;️ Lead client deliverables while ensuring adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and operational controls
'14;️ Collaborate with global stakeholders including Middle Office, Pricing, Investor Relations, Operations, and Relationship Management teams
'14;️ Drive client onboarding, process improvements, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives
'14;️ Mentor, coach, and develop team members while managing performance and resource planning
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of experience in Fund Accounting
Mandatory experience working on Hedge Fund asset class
Strong expertise in NAV Calculation & Review, Fund Valuation, Investor Allocation, Financial Reporting, and Performance/P&L Reporting
Experience in Audit Coordination, Regulatory Reporting, and Financial Statement Review
Proven experience leading and managing teams (Upto 2 Years)
Strong stakeholder management, client servicing, and communication skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
