\nRole Overview
\nWe are seeking a seasoned HR Manager with extensive experience in the IT industry , capable of leading and strengthening core HR functions. The role requires a strategic HR professional with no direct experience in Recruitment or Talent Acquisition , but strong expertise in employee lifecycle management, HR operations, compliance, performance management, and organizational development.
\nThe incumbent will act as a key partner to leadership, ensuring HR policies, processes, and practices are aligned with business objectives and compliant with statutory requirements.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nHR Operations & Policy Management
\n- \n
- Design, implement, and manage HR policies, SOPs, and frameworks aligned with IT industry best practices. \n
- Ensure smooth execution of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (onboarding to exit), excluding recruitment activities. \n
- Drive consistency and standardization across HR processes and documentation. \n
Employee Relations & Engagement
\n- \n
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution. \n
- Foster a positive work culture and high employee engagement through structured initiatives and programs. \n
- Advise managers on employee conduct, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans. \n
Performance Management
\n- \n
- Own and manage the performance management system (goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals). \n
- Partner with business leaders to ensure effective performance tracking and development planning. \n
- Drive performance calibration and merit/bonus processes. \n
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Coordination
\n- \n
- Manage compensation structures, salary revisions, incentives, and benefits administration. \n
- Coordinate with payroll teams/vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. \n
- Support leadership with compensation benchmarking and internal parity analysis. \n
Statutory Compliance & Governance
\n- \n
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, IT industry regulations, and statutory requirements. \n
- Manage audits, inspections, and statutory filings in coordination with external consultants. \n
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and compliance documentation. \n
Learning, Development & Capability Building
\n- \n
- Identify training needs and drive learning & development initiatives for employees and managers. \n
- Support leadership development and succession planning programs. \n
HR Analytics & Reporting
\n- \n
- Prepare and present HR MIS, dashboards, and insights for senior management. \n
- Track key HR metrics related to attrition, engagement, performance, and compliance. \n
Required Qualifications & Experience
\n- \n
- 15–18 years of overall HR experience within the IT / IT Services industry . \n
- Proven experience in core HR, HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and performance management . \n
- No prior experience in Recruitment or Talent Acquisition (mandatory). \n
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance. \n
- Experience working closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders. \n
