Java with Murex

We are currently seeking a Java with Murex to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Summary

Provide specialist L3 support and engineering expertise for Murex-integrated Java services, focusing on production stability, complex issue resolution, and Murex–Java integration.

Mandatory Skills

• 6–10 years’ experience in Java with strong Murex exposure

• Proven experience supporting Murex-integrated production systems
\n
• Strong Java expertise (Java 11 and Java 21)
\n
• Solid understanding of dependency upgrades, compatibility issues, and framework transitions
\n
• Strong understanding of Murex architecture and Java integration patterns
\n
• Experience with Murex APIs, data models and workflows
\n
• Strong SQL and database troubleshooting capability
\n
• Linux/Unix production support skills
\n
• Strong troubleshooting across distributed systems and complex estates
\n

Good to Have Skills

\n
• Familiarity with Java 21 capabilities such as virtual threads, structured concurrency, pattern matching, and sequenced collections
\n
• Familiarity with Murex Java-facing integration points including MDRS, MDCS, XSD-driven APIs, MXML Exchange adapters, and workflow/market data plugins
\n
• Experience in multi-environment estates (dev, UAT, prod, CI/CD)
\n
• Knowledge of REST, messaging and batch-based integrations
\n
• Exposure to SONAR, Unit and Integration testing
\n

Responsibilities

\n
• Own L3 support for Murex-integrated Java services (e.g. PhoenixService, DataService, MarketDataService, TradeService)
\n
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across Murex core, APIs, and Java services
\n
• Deliver fixes and enhancements across Murex integration layers
\n
• Support remediation and stabilisation activities across Murex-related services
\n
• Work closely with Murex functional teams and upstream/downstream systems
\n
• Analyse and improve batch processing, data flows, and service performance
\n
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability
\n
• Support releases and integration validation across environments
\n
